2020-2025 Tesla Model Y & Model 3 Screen Mount Cellphone Holder

This phone holder is following Elon's mantra: the best part is no part. It's so simple. No sticky stuff, no suction cups, no magnets. It's just slides on top of your screen.

Well design and streamlined holder. Well made and very sturdy.

Overall its great and as described, but i think a feature where you can rotate the cellphone to be moved to be on top of screen would be great.

Mount’s fit is great on the Tesla monitor - the pockets are a waste of plastic. Position in driver’s line of sight is terrible and there is zero fix for this - put a 2x4 piece of wood vertically in front of the driver and you’ll have anew blind spot. The friction swivel mount for the phone will need to be fixed every time you mount/remove the phone because the spring is stronger than the ball mount. The squeeze mount means your phone must be held where there aren’t phone buttons… it is WAY higher in my eye line than I will ever use. The plus is that it was stupid cheap… but still about worthless for most users.

My advice to developers is to first drive and use the car before choosing where drivers might want a phone.

Was happy to put in use the new version of this phone holder. It still squeaks a little when not in use, but overall seems like better construction and design than the 1st edition.

This simple device easily attaches to my model Y monitor, as does my iPhone into the clamps. It provides enough flexibility to adjust/customize it’s positioning.

The mounting bracket to the screen fits and holds well. The actual mount is good but it's super tight if you have a large phone with a heavy duty case like an OtterBox. I have a S21 Ultra with an Otterbox case and it fits a bit too snug. The product itself is nice and it swivels vertically and horizontally thought sits a bit close to the steering wheel. If it sat back about an inch back, I think it would be a good distance. If you sit it horizontally while driving, the screen is blocked. Overall it's functional and works good. Small adjustments to the design and I think it would be perfect.

Once I got it correctly in place, it works well. Plastic is a little more lightweight than I would like, but it holds my phone nicely in place, at eye level.

As with other products from Tesmanian, fit is perfect. Slides on to screen, slick little pocket on the back can be used for small items(about 4 inches deep and 6 inches long). My complaint is that how the clip holds the iPhone 15 plus, it’s a bit of a struggle to get it in, and also minimally blocks view over right upper corner of steering wheel. Not a real safety issue, but a bit annoying.
