Tesla Cybertruck spotted on Goodyear tires

Goodyear Tires are the first tires to be on the Moon, as well as the first tires to be on Tesla Cybertruck. In 1971, the Apollo 14 Lunar Rover, equipped with Goodyear XLT tires, landed on the Moon, and on November 21, 2019, a Cybertruk equipped with Goodyear tires was unveiled at the Tesla Design Center, near SpaceX.

The pickup truck body is made of the same steel as the SpaceX Starship: it can withstand a sledgehammer and even a shot from a 9 mm firearm.

The Tri-motor version of the Cyber Truck will be capable of 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds, which means its 35-inch wheels will need W, Y or Z-rated SUV tires.

The designations W and Y mean that the tires are capable of withstanding speeds of 149+ mph, if the tire is rated 186+ mph, the manufacturer will usually indicate Z.

The wheels of the Cybertruck have amazing wheel caps that seem to merge with the design of the tires. On closer inspection, you will notice that the sidewalls of Cybertruck tires have the Goodyear wingfoot logo.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is an American international company that manufactures tires and other rubber products, as well as polymers for the automotive and industrial markets. Goodyear produces tires for cars and trucks, motorcycles, airplanes, agricultural and earth moving equipment.

The company also has many years of manufacturing tires for racing cars. Goodyear is the most successful manufacturer of tires for Formula 1 cars, it holds records in the number of starts, victories and cups of designers. After the 1998 season, the company ceased to cooperate with Formula 1, and at present it is the only supplier of racing series NASCAR.

Therefore, it is likely that Tesla will cooperate with Goodyear and use their tires for Cybertrucks. There is currently no exact information about this. Most likely we will get the first hints during the testing of cars on the roads by Tesla engineers, and accurate information only after the first buyers receive this unbelievable truck. Although there is hope that Elon Musk will share with us the details of this a little earlier on his Twitter.

The Cybertruck, which Musk is currently driving, is shod with Goodyear Tires. Well, let's see what tires will be on the truck for the mass market.
