Tesla Solar, Powerwall and EV All Come With New Luxury Homes As A Bundle, Drives Mutual Benefits

Growth Luxury Homes, the developer and investor, have come up with several special add-ons for the Las Vegas project to make their homes more attractive: they install Tesla Solar panels, Powerwall and equip them with Tesla cars.

The US Department of Energy has developed a set of standards defining a new housing class. The goal, known as Challenge Homes, is to build new homes that are “Zero Net-Energy Ready,” which will produce all the energy that their residents consume.

According to Teslamag, Growth Luxury Homes (GLH) of Las Vegas has accepted this challenge. The company recently announced plans to develop an entire community of 54 “clean” energy-producing homes on a 42-acre hillside plot at MacDonald Highlands in Henderson. Working with Tesla, the developer will offer the new Tesla car as a standard feature for every home. Housing prices in the new unit, which will be called The Hills, will start at $1.8 million and will vary in size from 3,800 to 7,500 square feet of living space.

The houses will be designed to exceed the standards of the Department of Energy, which will lead to a positive increase in energy in the "energy-independent" community.

“Our homes in Augusta Canyon will be the best-valued luxury custom residences in Las Vegas, while also offering organic, thoughtful designs that encourage a sustainable lifestyle through intuitive technology,” said Founder and Chairman of GLH Phillippe Ziade.

The construction of the first house is currently underway. One of 10 luxury models to be located in the Shadow Canyon Estates community within the gated Augusta area of Southern Highlands, this first estate home is situated on a 3/4 acre lot at 26 Shadow Canyon Court. It is a 6-bedroom, 5 3/4-bath, 6-car garage Mediterranean-style home with 9,825 square feet. Along with state-of-the-art technology, which includes Tesla Solar panels, there is a Tesla Powerwall for energy storage and a Tesla charging station. The cost of this house is 5.5 million dollars, and the buyer will receive a Tesla car, which will already be parked in the garage!
