Throughout 2021, Tesla Model 3 shone in the German market, which welcomes the cars of the American manufacturer with great love. While electric vehicles from local manufacturers are still highly popular, Model 3 was the most coveted this year. According to EU-EVs data, the car of the American manufacturer was sold to 25,341 customers in Germany, making it the best-selling BEV in the 10 months of 2021, from January to October.

With a slight lag of 1,693 cars, the electric car of the local automobile giant Volkswagen ID.3 is in second place with 23,684 registered units. In third place is also Volkswagen's car—UP!—with 22,977 registrations. Fourth place was taken by the electric car of the French automaker, Renault Zoe, with 15,965 units sold.
