In response to requests from customers to change the base, free color of the vehicle, Tesla responded quickly. Now, Midnight Silver Metallic has been added to the existing Pearl White Multi-Coat as an included color.
In early October, @28delayslater/Twitter reached out to Tesla CEO Elon Musk to change the base, free color when buying the company's cars. He suggested using, for example, silver, which was supported by many community members. Musk responded to @28delayslater's request by promising to discuss the matter with the team.
Good point, will discuss with team. Floki pic tomorrow.

One month after the request, Tesla made changes. Now, in addition to Pearl White Multi-Coat, customers can choose Midnight Silver Metallic as a color that's already included in the price. Those looking to own a car in Deep Blue Metallic, Solid Black, or Red Multi-Coat colors will have to pay an extra $1,000 - $2,000, depending on the color chosen. Note that Midnight Silver Metallic has been added as a new free color for Model 3 and Y only.
Tesla has once again shown that it can hear the needs of its customers and translate their wishes regarding cars into reality. This is a particularly valuable quality of the manufacturer. Having achieved great success, the company has not turned its back on customers, but is in constant dialogue with them, trying to provide them with the best car ownership experience. Tesla’s CEO often personally responds to the requests of consumers, which is absolutely unique in the modern world.
