Tesla Model Y General Assembly at Giga Berlin/Tesla
Tesla is reducing the delivery time of Model Y Long Range to its US customers by approximately four weeks. This indicates progress in ramping up production at Giga Texas and consolidating success in increasing production capacity at the Fremont factory.
Tesla has shortened the delivery time of Model Y Long Range for its customers in the US, which has been noticed by @SawyerMerritt/Twitter. Now, when ordering a Model Y LR with 19” Gemini Wheels, as standard, the estimated delivery date is March-July 2023, which is a one-month reduction from April-July 2023 earlier. When ordering Model Y LR with 20” Induction Wheels, which are priced at $2,000, the lower cap of delivery time was also reduced by one month, to December 2022 from January 2023. At the same time, the upper cap of the estimated delivery date remains the same as it was, in April 2023.
NEWS: @Tesla Model Y estimated delivery dates have slightly improved for new orders in the US. Here are the changes:

• Model Y LR (base): Mar 2023 - Jul 2023 (from April-Jul 2023)
• Model Y LR (with induction wheels): Dec 2022 - Apr 2023 (Jan 2023 - Apr 2023) pic.twitter.com/W9c98qjgce
These changes indicate that Tesla continues to successfully increase production at Giga Texas, which is already affecting the speed of deliveries. Late last week, the factory announced a major milestone: reaching a production capacity of 1,000 Model Ys per week. At the moment, there is every reason to believe that production capacity at the factory continues to grow, which means that Model Y delivery time may be even further reduced. In addition, the Fremont factory also reached a record production capacity in June 2022, and is likely to have maintained the result.
