Tesla has begun rolling out FSD Beta 10.2 to cars with a 100/100 safety score for over 100 miles, Elon Musk announced on Twitter. Now, a wider number of owners will be able to test the new software and help the company refine it.

Tesla intended to begin rolling out FSD Beta 10.2 more widely at midnight on October 8 to around 1,000 owners with excellent safety ratings. However, in the last minutes, several concerns about the build have been identified, so the deployment was postponed a few days to Sunday or Monday, for which Elon Musk personally apologized to the Tesla owners on Twitter.

As promised, the distribution started early Monday morning. Musk announced via Twitter that FSD Beta 10.2 is now rolling out to cars with a 100/100 safety score for over 100 miles, delighting many owners who have been looking forward to it.

Several owners have already shared the great news that software downloads have already begun on their vehicles and they are looking forward to testing. Some users have even posted short testing videos, although we will be able to receive more detailed and extensive feedback about FSD Beta 10.2 from them within the next few days.

If testing of FSD Beta 10.2 is successful, Tesla will begin a gradual rollout to users with a safety score of 99 or below. It should be kept in mind that, at the moment, the Safety Score is just a beta version, so it will be improved in the future until it becomes a very good predictor of the likelihood of an accident.
