Mid-June, Tesla announced recruitment for the positions of Sales & Delivery Manager and Tesla Advisor. In a job description, the company wrote that it was preparing for its entry into Greece; both positions are in Athens.
On August 1, Tesla opened an order page and a configurator for buying its vehicles in Greece. Taking advantage of the start-up of government incentives for buying electric vehicles, the company is dynamically entering the Greek market. All Tesla vehicles with a base price below €50,000 before taxes are eligible for Greece's e-Mobility subsidy program.

The company has now announced that it will open a pop-up store and service center in Athens. The pop-up store will open in the next quarter for potential Tesla buyers to see and test the Model 3, Model S and Model X.
The service center is expected to be ready before Tesla cars ship to Greece in November, so local Tesla owners can soon begin accessing hassle-free service for their vehicle.
The first Tesla Supercharger station is slated to launch in Greece by the end of 2020. Back in February this year, company representatives visited the country to meet with government officials and pertinent authorities to discuss this issue.
Tesla will expand its Supercharging network throughout Greece in 2021. The EV maker originally announced that it would open five fast-charging stations in Athens, Patras, Lamia, Ioannina and Thessaloniki.
