The Tesla Cybertruck prototype has been spotted in California again. TikTok user OrangeSpiceLvr spotted the pickup truck with lots of calibration equipment. Currently, Tesla is conducting intensive testing of Cybertruck. The pickup trucks are often seen on public roads. In addition, they have recently undergone a series of tests in cold conditions in New Zealand. Such intensity may indicate that the manufacturer is actively preparing for the imminent introduction of Cybertruck to the market.
Tesla has already begun production of the pickup trucks atĀ Giga Texas. However, these are not yet the samples that will be delivered to consumers. The company stated during the Q2 2023 Earnings Call that Cybertruck is still undergoing final certification and validation. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Tesla remains on track to begin mass production later this year at Giga Texas.
The Cybertruck production line atĀ Giga Texas is very busy right now. Many employees are working to make the final adjustments. Elon Musk said that this year we should not count on the delivery of a large number of pickups. Until the end of the year, the team will try to increase production to start producing a really significant amount in 2024.
