Twitter User Signups & Daily Active Minutes Hit All-Time High

The number of new users registered on Twitter 2.0, “The Everything App,” is at the highest level in the history of the platform, Elon Musk showed. In addition, their daily active minutes are at an all-time high, while the amount of hate speech has decreased.

Elon Musk bought Twitter exactly one month ago and despite the fact that he has come into a complete mess, he has already significantly improved the platform. Dramatic changes are taking place at all levels, from adding new useful features to combating the problem of the distribution of content containing scenes of child sexual abuse. It is obvious that the changes taking place on the platform have begun attracting more users, and users are spending more time on Twitter. On Saturday, Elon Musk shared some updates that show great success.

  • As of November 16, registrations have averaged over two million per day over the past seven days, up 66% from the same week in 2021.
  • The number of active minutes of users has reached an all-time high. Averaged nearly 8 billion active minutes per day over the past seven days as of November 15, up 30% from the same week last year.
  • As of November 13, the number of displays of hate speech has decreased compared to October last year.

In another tweet early Sunday morning, Musk said he saw a “path to Twitter exceeding a billion monthly users in 12 to 18 months.”
