Twitter is apparently working on introducing a video chat feature. Developer at WA Tweaker Alessandro Paluzzi tweeted a post on Wednesday claiming that the platform is working on it. To back up his claim, he shared two screenshots, one of which shows a video call icon, and the other shows features that offer to mute the microphone, turn off the video call, and a call icon.

Adding the ability to make calls, including a video call to Twitter, is a big and important step for the platform. At the moment, it remains unclear why this feature was not added under the previous management, as platforms such as Meta, Instagram, and WhatsApp already have a video chat feature. Expanding functionality in this direction will make Twitter more attractive to an even wider audience. In fact, now some users of the platform will not be forced to use other applications for video calls, which can be quite convenient for them. The news about the addition of video chat has already received a lot of positive feedback.
Since Elon Musk bought Twitter, the platform has been constantly changing. At the moment, the company is working on a lot of updates to increase its attractiveness for users and make it a place where they would like to spend more time.
