Tesla deliveries in Spain continue to ramp up, providing the lead in June. A shipment of hundreds of electric vehicles has arrived in the port of Barcelona, some of which could be delivered as early as June to support Tesla's Q2 deliveries.
Q2 2022 was very difficult for Tesla and for other manufacturers. The world is facing another supply chain disruption due to Russia's attack on Ukraine and a severe COVID-19 outbreak, followed by a lengthy lockdown in China. Giga Shanghai, which is Tesla's main export hub, was closed for 22 days of the quarter, and the resumption of production was weighed down by the strict restrictions of the Shanghai government, so it was slow. However, already by mid-May the situation began to improve, and from June, production was restored to 100%.
Thanks to the excellent work of the Chinese Tesla team, deliveries of vehicles to overseas markets continued to increase, and in June, European countries will receive thousands of Tesla vehicles. A large batch of vehicles has now arrived in the port of Barcelona, Spain, and will be delivered to customers shortly. @Alandbru/Twitter shared a photo taken at the port showing almost 400 Tesla vehicles, although this is obviously only part of the whole batch. In the picture, you can see that the camera only partially captured the cars that are located in the parking lot.

There are still four days left until the end of Q2, which means there is a high chance that at least some of these vehicles will be delivered to customers. This will help to strengthen the already strong position of Tesla in Spain in June. As of June 27, 358 Model 3 and 220 Model Y cars were registered (in June), which already accounts for 27.5% of the EV market share for the month, according to EU-EVs data.
