Until this point, it was only known that the company had designed, built, and conducted the standard tests for Semi. However, this is the first time the job description mentions homologation. Homologation is usually one of the last hurdles before a new car model can go on sale. Thus, the driver will have to put Semi through a series of special tests to ensure that the company's truck meets all the requirements. All these tests will then be carried out by trained specialists from certification bodies accredited in the respective country to allow for the sale of Tesla Semi.
