Last week, Tesla officially delivered the first Model Y to Vancouver, British Columbia, which marked the beginning of the delivery of the electric compact SUV to Canada.
Drive Tesla Canada reports that they were contacted by Model Y reservation owner Simon Wong, and shared that he was awaiting delivery of his car, which, according to information from Tesla, is scheduled for June 27. The owner is located in Toronto-Oakville on Wyecroft Road and expects Long Range Model Y with 20″ Induction wheels.

Drive Tesla Canada also received a message another Model Y Long Range reservation holder in Toronto, which indicated that he was also expecting delivery on June 27, but this time at Lawrence Ave. Both messages report that their VINs start with 15XXX.
This information hints that the Performance configuration may be delivered to Ontario earlier than June 27th. Previously, Tesla always at first delivered a more expensive configuration and only after that, cheaper, so there is every reason to believe that now everything will happen according to the same scenario.
Other reports received by Drive Tesla Canada indicate that Tesla also sent updates to Model Y reservation holders in British Columbia. According to reports, delivery is scheduled for mid-week.

Several Drive Tesla Canada readers also said they received messages that indicated they could receive delivery within 1-2 weeks.
"Tesla Update - We currently expect your Model Y to be ready for delivery 1 - 2 weeks from today. Once your Model Y starts moving to your delivery center, we will reach out to schedule your delivery appointment. Please note that your delivery may be earlier than this estimation if a vehicle with your configuration becomes available."
Apparently Tesla is activating Model Y delivery in both the US and Canada. This suggests that Tesla preparing for another quarter-end push.
Despite the fact that for more than a month in the 2Q 2020, the Tesla factory in Fremont was closed due to the Covid-19 lockdown, the company seeks to manufacture and deliver as many cars as possible. Apparently, Tesla will once again surprise us with high rates that testify to the strength of the company's mission and perseverance in achieving it.
