Tesla Fremont factory was temporary halted for the production in the end of March 2020 due to the COVID-19 breakout. There was a conflict between California Governor Gavin Newsom's statement about reopening the state and Alameda County's decision on reopening the The Tesla Fremont factory's timeline.
Soon after that, The US President Donald J. Trump also posted on Twitter (May 12th) about California should allow Tesla Inc. to reopen the factory located in Fremont as soon as possible under the safe measure. Click here for more detail.
The lawsuit was established due to unfairness County's decision. Tesla CEO Elon Musk also posted on Twitter: "The unelected & ignorant 'Interim Health Officer' of Alameda is acting contrary to the Governor, the President, our Constitutional freedoms &just plain common sense."
As of right now, Tesla decided not pursue it's lawsuit against Alameda County over the Fremont factory reopening.
