Tesla is developing a prototype of a double-deck Supercharger for six cars, spotted at Giga Berlin. Two units were seen near Giga Berlin during development.

Tesla is a prime example of continuous development and innovation, which is dictated by the desire to do everything efficiently, quickly, and at minimal cost. To this end, the company is constantly optimizing all processes from production to consumer delivery. An interesting development was spotted by several Giga Berlin construction observers last week.

Two double-deck constructions with Superchargers installed there were spotted near the Paint Shop. Although not all stalls have been set up yet, it can be assumed that there will be a total of six chargers, three per floor. The structure does not look very wide and seems perfect for accommodating six Tesla cars. These structures have railings on both sides, steps leading to the second floor on both sides, as well as a roof frame. At first glance, it is completely incomprehensible how cars would ascend to the second deck for charging.

However, the shape and size of the structures suggest that this could be a development for a trailer that would transport Tesla vehicles to delivery centers and charge them at the same time. It's probably not finished yet and will go through a lot of changes, but it could be a concept that might soon become a shaped prototype.

It is worth noting that a trailer that charges Tesla vehicles while transporting them to delivery centers is a very good idea. In fact, this can save a lot of time, factory space, and material costs. With such trailers, Tesla would not have to build a large charging station on the factory site, allocating space and money for this, spending time charging cars and working hours of employees who transport cars to and from the charging station. Instead, after a car leaves the assembly line and passes the quality check, it could be immediately sent to the delivery center, charging right on its way.

It is worth keeping in mind that these constructions could also have been designed for something else altogether. For example, the structures could be installed directly at the factory simply to save space, making for optimal use of all the available floor space.
