Construction of Giga Berlin is ongoing, and it seems that the shell is almost complete. More and more equipment arrives at the site, and internal work has entered a new phase, as the start of production will soon begin.
The Drive Unit building received one of two missing staircase additions. In general, the shell of the rest of the building seems to be completely finished, and internal work continues there.

In General Assembly (GA) and Body in White (BiW), the last precast reinforced concrete columns are already installed around the perimeter. Installation of roof frames and roof deck has already begun along the entire perimeter, except for the south side of GA. Looking at the buildings from the West-South corner, we see more and more similarities to the render that was presented by Tesla half a year ago.

The Paint Shop building is also largely finished. It has a complete roof, most walls, and a facade. On the east and north sides, there are areas partially uncovered by walls, through which, most likely, some kind of production equipment will be brought in.

Also, Tesla has installed three mobile heaters on the first floor of the Paint Shop. Most likely they are used to heat the room for interior work and to install equipment in the building. A lot of equipment has been seen on the construction site, awaiting installation.

The Casting building remains the only one that is least finished. It still lacks the East wall and roof. Most likely this is due to the technology of building the foundation, which will become a support for very massive and heavy Giga Presses. First, the concrete must achieve optimum strength. Secondly, any soil without sufficient compaction shrinks, and therefore, after laying the concrete, builders often give it time to stand without starting further construction.

A few days ago, Tesla received permission to build a temporary exit from the A10 highway for Giga Berlin. The planning and construction will be carried out by the federal company Autobahn GmbH, but all costs are borne by Tesla. Construction of the exit should start by the end of January. It is planned in the northwest of the site, and includes an exit and entry from or to the eastern lane of the A10, that is, the lane leading from south to north. Later, a permanent exit from the highway, including a new state road, will be replaced by a temporary one, but this will take several years.
