Tesla files trademark for Cyber Roundup ahead of its shareholder meeting. The purpose of the trademark is to provide information in the fields of electric cars and energy products, and it also extends to certain merchandise.
Tesla differs significantly from other public companies in that it makes any event exciting for its customers and shareholders. That is why they are always very popular and not everyone can actually join them. The shareholders' meeting in 2022 will also be no exception, because Tesla has certainly prepared something interesting.
The shareholder meeting will take place on August 4, 2022, at Giga Texas, and only a few who won the drawing will be able to attend in person. Last week, Tesla sent out invitations to those who won and they were adorned with a new logo that reads “Cyber Roundup” against the neon outlines of the state of Texas. It resembled the logo of the Cyber Rodeo held in April to mark the opening of the factory.
This week it became known that the company has registered a new trademark, which was prepared just before the meeting of shareholders. The application described that the trademark will feature a “stylized outline of the U.S. state of Texas with the words CYBER ROUNDUP in stylized font in the center of the design.” As a goal, Tesla indicates that the trademark is to “provide information in the fields of electric cars and energy products.” The application also stated that the trademark would be used for merchandise such as “clothing; t-shirts; shirts; hats; socks; jackets; (and) sweaters.”
This hints that Tesla has prepared some cool Shareholders' Day merchandise for sale during the event. Perhaps later they will also become available for purchase in the Tesla Shop for those shareholders who were unable to attend the meeting in person and for customers of the company. However, it seems that the purpose of the trademark goes far beyond that.
