Q2 2020 is definitely a very challenging quarter for all companies, including Tesla the California electric carmaker. The company's Fremont factory was temporary halted production for over a month due to the COVID-19 from end of March until mid of May.
On June 29, there was an unconfirmed leaked email (from Elon Musk to all employees ) that Tesla has a good chance to be breakeven in Q2 2020.
"Breaking even is looking super tight. Really makes a difference for every car you build and deliver. Please go all out to ensure victory!"
And today CNBC was reported Tesla CEO Elon Musk sent out a congratulatory email to all employees before the official Q2 delivery number announcement.
“Just amazing how well you executed, especially in such difficult times. I am so proud to work with you!”
From the leaked email, it shows there is a pretty good possibility that Tesla is able to achieve a profitable Q2 2020, S&P500 inclusion could be around the corner.
