Tesla Cybertruck may be available for purchase with Dogecoin, Elon Musk’s favorite cryptocurrency. This is hinted at by the source code of the electric pickup truck page on the manufacturer's website.

Tesla Cybertruck deliveries may begin in the near future. As the company prepares for this event, enthusiasts are trying to get more information about the electric truck. Crypto influencer MartyParty/X discovered a mention of Dogecoin in the source code of the Tesla Cybertruck order page.

MartyParty provided a screenshot of their verification and encouraged everyone to conduct an independent verification. He advised using the Brave browser, accessing the browser checker feature, and viewing the JavaScript (JS) source code in the “commons” section. While searching for “Doge,” MartyParty claimed to have found the reference in question. Independent checks also found a reference, which confirms their words and the authenticity of the presented screenshot.

The meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin is already built into the Tesla ecosystem. From the beginning of 2022, some of the company's Cybertruck-themed merchandise was available for purchase using Doge. This alone already hinted that the electric pickup truck could be available for purchase using Doge. This payment method would be convenient, as it is very easy to use.

Previously, Elon Musk expressed his opinion on cryptocurrency. He believes that the meme coin is the best option for fast transactions. Musk explained that BTC is the main engine in the crypto market, but the volume of transactions is small and their cost is high. BTC can function as a store of value at its basic level, but is not suitable for daily use and the purchase of various goods.

Meanwhile, DOGE, which was originally created as a joke, is better suited for transactions. The transaction flow of the coin is higher than BTC as it can process more transactions per day. Musk agreed that DOGE is slightly inflationary but argued that its inflationary number is fixed, and the percentage is not. With this theory, he believes the percentage of inflation decreases over time, encouraging people to spend DOGE instead of hoarding it as a store of value.
