In 2020, Tesla has greatly expanded its presence in the world. The company entered new markets and began to open stores and service centers spread across the globe. Most recently, judging by new job openings, the company intends to expand into the Singapore market.
In late July, Tesla had announced the hiring of 5 positions: Vehicle Service Technician, Vehicle Readiness Specialist, Parts Advisor, Service Advisor, and Service Manager. This was the first sign of a change in the relationship between Singapore and Tesla. Previously, the company’s goals were overshadowed by the city-state's lack of support for the development and deployment of electric vehicles.

And now—via Linkedin—Tesla has posted 3 additional positions, further supporting Tesla’s intentions to enuer the Singapore Market: Vehicle Operations Specialist, Store Leader, and Customer Support Specialist.
Vehicle Operations Specialist
"The Vehicle (DMV) Operations Specialist is responsible for all vehicle registration and related document handling for purchases in market. This role is expected to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, fleet, remarketing, service, and logistics to ensure a timely, efficient and smooth transaction for all deliveries within the region."
Store Leader
"In this role, you will be responsible for leading the recruitment, training, development and overall management of a dynamic store team that will help Tesla accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable transportation.
You will be challenged to support your team through training, coaching, motivating and analyzing sales performance. You will be tasked with identifying events in the local market that will maximize Tesla's brand exposure and create more Tesla owners."
Customer Support Specialist
