Tesla China participates in the 2021 Beijing Consumer Season Shopping Festival. The manufacturer presented its cars made at Giga Shanghai—Model 3 and Model Y—as well as the company’s V3 Superchargers.
On November 20, the opening ceremony of the 2021 Beijing Consumer Season Shopping Festival took place at the Tongzhou Canal Cultural Plaza. Hundreds of new vehicles have been presented to consumers for shopping. Tesla has become one of the most highly anticipated brands there and has unveiled its Model 3 and Model Y, as well as its third-generation Supercharger, which has attracted many consumers. Chinese media reported that leaders from Beijing and various organizers visited Tesla's booth and expressed their approval for the company's products, services, and the construction of the charging network.
Ma Li, regional general manager for Tesla's Northern District in China, said the transformation of fuel-powered vehicles into electric vehicles has become an irreversible trend. The usability of electric vehicles has been greatly improved especially for consumers in big cities such as Beijing. Today, consumers are more willing to use electric vehicles as the primary means of transportation for their families. Tesla is among those replacing ICE vehicles.
“My Tesla Model 3 was purchased through an Official Replacement Service. The whole process was very fast. I bought it right after the test drive,” said Mr. Lee. “In addition, the charging network in Beijing is becoming more and more developed. There is no concern about the cold, especially the feel of the Tesla's heated seat function is very good, the whole family loves it, and I really hope that Tesla can bring better and better experiences to car owners.”
Tesla will provide five gifts at the 2021 Beijing Seasonal Car Shopping Festival. If consumers replace gasoline-powered vehicles with a new Model 3 or Model Y, they will be able to choose: 90-day free trial Enhanced Autopilot, replacement one-stop service, 14-day commute guarantee after replacement, 14-day long insured validity period, or free door-to-door exchange of official cooperative appraisers, and other “no burden” replacements for new cars.
