Tesla China Online Job Fair, Recruit Talents for Gigafactory Shanghai

The situation with the coronavirus epidemic in China is becoming increasingly difficult. The Chinese government has taken measures such as stopping transit and operating facilities throughout the country. This has a negative impact on the global economy, but primarily on the Chinese economy.

Tesla CFO Zachary Kirkhorn addressed the virus' impact on Gigafactory Shanghai during the earnings call. “We are in the early stages of understanding if, and to what extent, we may be temporarily impacted by the coronavirus,” Kirkhorn said.

“At this point, we’re expecting a one, to one and a half week-delay in the ramp of the Shanghai build Model 3 due to a government-required factory shutdown. This may slightly impact profitability for the quarter, but is limited as the profit contribution from Model 3 Shanghai remains in the early stages,” the CFO added.

Tesla with understanding and compassion refers to the situation in China. With this in mind, the company offers people who are now in search of work, but forced to be at home, as moving around the country is prohibited, stay active in search of work and get employment opportunities. Therefore, Tesla China has posted an official announcement inviting you to visit the online job fair.
