- Tesla begins a raffle for tickets to the Cybertruck Delivery Event
- Only shareholders of the company have the opportunity to participate in the drawing.
Following its Q3 2023 earnings report, Tesla announced that the first Cybertruck deliveries will take place on November 30. This is a very long-awaited event that will delight millions of fans of the electric pickup truck. This will also mark the four-year anniversary of the Cybertruck's unveiling, which was first announced on November 21, 2019. It will take place at the Gigafactory Texas, near Austin.
Now Tesla has announced a raffle for tickets to the event on a web page specifically designed for this. Shareholders of the company are invited to participate. The manufacturer said it would only be able to accommodate a limited number of people. You can apply to participate here.
To ensure maximum fairness, Tesla conducts a random drawing to determine shareholders' eligibility. Shareholders whose shares are active as of September 30, 2023 can apply. To apply, you must verify your shareholdings by uploading proof of Tesla stock ownership to the Shareholder Dashboard in one of the accepted formats with your name. The sweepstakes entry deadline is Friday, November 3, 2023, at 11:59 PM CDT. The company plans to begin publishing selections during the week of November 6, 2023. Those selected through the drawing process will be required to verify their identity with a valid government-issued ID. Selections are non-transferable.
Tesla said it already has the installed capacity to produce more than 125,000 Cybertrucks per year. The production line is located at Giga Texas. For now, Tesla is still calling it a pilot line. This may be due to the fact that the company is still improving the production process to take it to a higher and more automated level.
