Tesla appoints its China executive to the Asia Pacific region, sources said. This is a smart move, as the Chinese team has proven its exceptional professionalism and ability to solve problems of any complexity in order to grow business.
Tesla has changed the management structure of the Asia-Pacific team. Previously, the region's leaders were under the control of US executives, but now they are run by the Chinese executive, Bloomberg said, citing people familiar with the matter. The restructuring means that senior managers in the region now report to Tom Zhu, Tesla's top executive in China, although there is no official confirmation of the information yet.
This appointment carries a lot of meaning. The Chinese team, led by exceptional executives, has achieved tremendous success in its around four years of existence. They not only made the company's operations successful, but repeatedly proved their ability to solve problems of any complexity, without looking for any excuses for why the work was not done. The team's diligence and dedication to the company are reflected in the results that Tesla China has achieved over the years. The Chinese executives are extremely efficient and should set an example for other Tesla top managers around the world. In addition, they do not need close supervision of the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, because their decisions are always aimed at the benefit of the company.
The Asia-Pacific region includes markets such as China, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore. All of these markets are actively recruiting to expand operations.
