Tesla has rolled out an update to its app, which now contains some very interesting features. Now owners of Tesla vehicles with the company's solar products can charge with only solar energy. In addition, improved charging information and a new section for non-Tesla vehicle members have been added.
Tesla always strives to make the use of its products convenient for its customers. To do this, the company has Tesla App, which gives quick and easy access to the manufacturer's products owned by customers. Improving and expanding the capabilities of its products, the company provides its customers with easy management through the Tesla App.
Tesla started rolling out the updated app yesterday. A little before that, a new function was noticed in the code to charge cars with only solar energy. Now it is clear that the company has implemented a “Drive on Sunshine” feature that will make this possible. It allows Tesla Solar owners to charge their cars only from the solar energy they produce and not use the energy produced by fossil fuels. This is a great opportunity for owners to further reduce their carbon footprint and bring even more value to our planet. In addition, it will significantly reduce the cost of charging and increase its overall energy efficiency.
In addition, Tesla has added other features to the app to improve charging. This includes a car battery heater on indicator, which is especially useful for cold weather driving for better battery control. Also added is an indicator for how much battery is lost due to colder temperatures, which will be an indispensable assistant in driving in the cold season.
Along with the opening of its charging network, Tesla is also improving its app, which is needed for owners of non-Tesla vehicles. In the updated app, the company has added a new membership section for non-Tesla car owners. Owners of all other electric vehicles in the US can now sign up for a membership that reduces the cost of charging. The membership costs $12.99 per month and with the updated app, it can be managed within the Tesla App.
