On January 2, the company announced delivery and production data for Q4 2020. Due to the fact that 2020 was overshadowed by COVID-19 and its negative consequences, Tesla faced production stops for a total of two months. This significantly affected the planned production and delivery targets for 2020. Nonetheless, the company rolled up its sleeves and made every effort to reach the goal of delivering 500,000 vehicles. This required Tesla to deliver about 181,000 vehicles in Q4, which is 40,000 more than it delivered in Q3. The company achieved great success, and delivered a record 180,570 in Q4 2020. Thus, the company delivered 499,550 vehicles in 2020. Tesla also produced a record 179,757 vehicles in Q4 and 509,737 in 2020.
