Tesla Added 43 Supercharger Stations in Mainland China in October, Plans More in 26 Cities for November

Tesla added 43 Supercharger stations in October, offering 174 stalls in mainland China. In November, the company will add dozens more Supercharger stations in 26 cities across the country.

Tesla added 43 Supercharger stations containing 174 stalls in mainland China in October alone, according to data released by the company on Friday. The new charging stations are located in 31 cities, including Shanghai, Chongqing, Nanjing, and Chengdu. Some of the charging stations reportedly do not charge parking fees. This is quite a large number of Superchargers opened in one month, and it demonstrates Tesla's commitment to customer satisfaction. In September, the company added 40 Supercharger stations in mainland China, offering 161 stalls.

In addition, Tesla announced that it plans to add Supercharger stations in 26 more cities in November, including Beijing, Xi'an, Tangshan, Dalian, Wuxi, Nanjing, Taizhou, and more. The manufacturer did not name the exact number of Superchargers and stalls that will open after that. However, it is clear that there will be at least 26 new locations. Rapid deployment of the Tesla charging network is a great move. In the summer of 2022, Giga Shanghai increased production and offered new discounts for Chinese customers. This has generated even more demand, so the company needs to keep up with the growth in the number of its vehicles on the road to ensure the best possible Tesla ownership experience.

To date, Tesla has a total of over 1,400 Supercharger stations in mainland China, offering more than 9,500 stalls. In addition, the manufacturer has over 750 destination charging stations with over 1,900 stalls.
