On April 29th, Secretary of Shanghai Municipal Party Li Qiang held a web-meeting with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Li Qiang introduced that the prevention and control of the COVID-19 in Shanghai continued to be stabilize. He mentioned during the web-meeting with Musk, while doing a good job in the prevention and control of normalized epidemic situation, Shanghai is accelerating the resumption of production, which will further boost market and investment confidence.
Li Qiang clearly shows the great support from Chinese Government to the Tesla Gigafactory Shanghai project, he also congratulations to the Tesla's Shanghai plant had achieved a good result in the first quarter of the production and sales, even with the COVID-19 impact.
"We will make every effort to create an international first-class business environment and provide more accurate and high-quality services. It will really help companies solve practical difficulties in their current development and support them to achieve greater development in Shanghai."
