Based on new CO2 emission standards and strong incentives from various member countries, Europe should lead the global growth in electric vehicle sales in 2020. According to a new report published by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BloombergNEF), this segment is expected to grow by 35% in the first three quarters of 2020.

From the data presented, we can see that the Audi e-tron and Jaguar I-PACE have a relatively high percentage of used cars. Which testifies to the fact that the owners of these cars sell them to second hand much more often than the owners of Tesla.
Audi e-tron and Jaguar I-PACE, began to be delivered only this year. That is, the first owners of these cars had the opportunity to ride them for only a few months, after which they chose to sell them and, most likely, buy another car.
At the same time, as you may have noticed, the quantity of used Tesla in the French market is negligible. And this is evidence that the owners of Tesla are in no hurry to sell their cars. There are many reasons why Tesla owners don't want to part with their cars. Here are some of them:
- the cost of Tesla cars is much lower than cars of other manufacturers in the same category;
- Tesla cars have a wide range of basic functions;
- all Tesla cars have high performance characteristics;
- the ability to receive software updates over the air (OTA);
- advanced technology. Tesla cars always keep up with the times and you will always have access to almost all of the new features that the company is constantly developing and releasing. Therefore, having bought a car today, it will not become obsolete in 2-4 years, and will have the same functions that new Tesla cars will have.
The image that creates Tesla is fully consistent with reality. After all, those who directly use the products can give the best mark to the brand.
