Rick and Morty is an American comedy sci-fi animated series created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon and released as part of the Adult Swim block on Cartoon Network. The series was originally a hooligan animation parody of the series of films "Back to the Future", and received extremely high reviews from critics, who especially noted its originality, creativity and sense of humor.

Rick and Morty are a mix of great comedy and sci-fi in insane setting. The authors of the script offer viewers to delve into the history of the adventures of Rick and Morty. One of them, Morty, is a simple schoolboy, a boy who has his whole life ahead. Second, Rick is his grandfather, who is crazy about science and just a little crazy. He is often visited by brilliant ideas, but sometimes life forces an adult to commit rash acts. During the series, the main characters traveled through different times and worlds, discovering more and more amazing lands and communicating with very unusual characters. Whoever said anything, but every such adventure, along with a very smart and shy boy and grandfather, who likes to drink and insert his black humor into every dialogue, was to the liking of modern viewers.

Elon Musk appeared in season 4, episode 3 called One Crew Over the Crewcoo's Morty.
In this episode, Rick, Morty, and Elon Tusk perform an exciting robbery operation, each of them performing random tasks.

Elon Musk voiced an alternate version of himself named Elon Tusk, from an alternate universe. He runs a car company called Tuskla, and is very similar to the real Elon Musk, but has tusks (like all of his employees, too).
But, as Elon Tusk explains himself, these two tusks help keep his ego in check, making him more agreeable than his non-tusked self.
That leads Elon Tusk to muse about how growing up with tusks may have made him more of a team player, but Rick isn't buying it. "Yeah, or you're less sure of yourself because you have monster teeth." The character later declares that Tusk and Musk "aren't opposites, OK? I'm just him with tusks!".

Recall that back in February 2019, Elon Musk briefly changed his Twitter handle to Elon Tusk. Then everyone thought that this was due to the memes that Elon Musk received regularly. But now we know that Elon then, like hinting to all his followers about something interesting, even most likely teased all of us.
In retrospect, Elon Musk wasn’t the only one dropping early hints about the “Rick and Morty” cameo. In May, the show’s co-creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, said something during an interview with entertainment news site Hollywood Life.
“I was hanging out with Elon ... and Dan knows where I was,” Roiland said - but then quickly cut Harmon off when he began to say the two “were recording.”
