Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, along with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood will take part in the Bitcoin conference "The ₿ Word."
At the end of June, in a series of humorous tweets, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and his friend Elon Musk, who has been actively interested in cryptocurrencies in recent months, seemed to agree that Tesla's CEO would attend a Bitcoin conference.
Jack Dorsey said his company will always work to make Bitcoin better. Now he’s taking the next step and presents "The ₿ Word"—an online conference that aims to educate institutions about Bitcoin.
"The ₿ Word is a Bitcoin focused initiative that aims to demystify and destigmatize mainstream narratives about Bitcoin, explain how institutions can and should embrace it, and raise awareness around areas of the network that need support."
This conference aims to introduce Bitcoin to large companies. It will feature top-notch speakers who have a lot to say about Bitcoin and its development:
- Cathie Wood, Founder, CEO and CIO of ARK Invest
- Jack Dorsey, CEO of Square, Inc.
- Adam Back, Co-Founder and CEO of Blockstream
- Michael Morell, Senior Counselor of Beacon Global Strategies, Former Acting and Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency
The conference will host on July 21, 2021, and will provide the investor community with a living experience and a library of content that will enable a more informed discussion of the role that Bitcoin can play for organizations around the world. After Dorsey shared information about the event on Twitter, Musk expressed interest in it.
Today it was officially announced that, despite the humorous nature of the discussion around this matter, Musk will definitely take part in the conference. Organizers of "The ₿ Word" conference have confirmed the event will feature a live discussion between Dorsey, Wood, and Musk.
