A record number of Tesla vehicles have been spotted at a Chinese port preparing for shipment. More than 10,000 Model 3s and Model Ys will soon be moored off European coasts, delivering a record-breaking quarter.
A massive new shipment of Tesla vehicles has been spotted by WuWa/YouTube at the Luchao Port Shanghai Nangang Terminal, preparing to ship to Europe. Tesla will bring a huge surprise in Q3 2022 with Giga Shanghai ramping up production at a breakneck pace.
According to @SawyerMerritt/Twitter, over 10,000 Tesla vehicles have been spotted at the port, making it the largest batch of Giga Shanghai-produced vehicles ever seen to date. Prior to this, the biggest batch of about 9,000 vehicles was spotted about one week ago. However, we all need to get used to the fact that in the future the factory will produce especially large batches of cars, as its production capacity continues to grow. After a recent upgrade, the installed capacity of Giga Shanghai is about 93,000 vehicles per month, which is about 1.1 million vehicles per year.

Although the factory will not be able to immediately start producing such a volume of cars, it will take only a few weeks for it to fully establish production. However, a significant increase in production is already noticeable now, as every week the batches getting ready for shipment are getting bigger and bigger.
