Tesla has started selling the updated Model S. Aside from the new color, the company is touting more features for less money, which includes High-Visibility Glass Roof, High-Performance Brakes, and a Round Steering Wheel, but there is likely more yet.

On Thursday, Tesla launched a new color for Model S and Model X. However, along with the exclusive Ultra Red color, Model S also received some amazing updates, according to an email with information sent to customers of the company. Tesla is offering more for less, with Model S now starting at $89,900. Tesla promises that the new Model S will have more performance, versatility, and style. Plus, it includes exclusive features that will take the driving experience to the next level. Tesla wrote:

Ultra Red Paint
Our newest paint offering features a high-chroma color and multi-layered paint process that delivers an exceptionally vibrant finish—exclusive to new Model S and Model X vehicles

High-Visibility Glass Roof
Our new Model S roof glass lets in more light, allowing a clearer view of the sky, day or night, while maintaining the same level of heat and UV protection

High-Performance Brakes
Plaid brakes now feature new pads with higher thermal capability—plus red calipers for a sharper aesthetic

Round Steering Wheel
Both yoke and round wheel deliver the same stalkless driving experience—it’s up to you

In addition, it is expected that the new Model S and Model X will be equipped with new hardware for Autopilot. Previously, Tesla planned to begin a smooth rollout of vehicles with the new hardware but did not provide a timeline.
